is in town. we also got a cal game so, whew, there's just so much going on! ! it makes me exhaust the just to talk about it. so it's going to be a busy weekend. use mass transit if you can. bart ferries muni are all stepping up service. bart told us they have not seen such numbers since they shut the bay bridge down and the giants victory parade a huge record setting day for bart. bart had two of its top ten ridership days already this week and they expect the numbers to go through the roof this weekend. san francisco's mayor says they can handle all the crowds and we're good to go for this weekend. so hopefully, traffic-wise, this is the calm before the big storm happening this weekend. for the latest on traffic conditions on the roads let's go inside to gianna. >> thank you. should be a very fun weekend in san francisco. in fact, most of the bay area. so far, we are not seeing too much this friday morning as far as accidents go. however, the bay bridge is starting to get a bit busy. they haven't turned on the metering lights. looks like the

on the cal campus this morning. this comes after a group of students filed a complaint accusing the school of being anti-semitic. the complaint says the university allowed an anti-israel protest on campus back in february and claims the school has a hostile campus for jewish students. uc berkeley denying the allegations but say stopping the protest would have infringed on free speech rights. >>> the oakland man who was denied an organ transplant because he's undocumented immigrant has a new kidney this morning. jesus navarro had been waiting for a transplant seven years. last week he was called in for the surgery. navarro had been sidelined for years because as an undocumented immigrant hospital officials were concerned he wouldn't have guaranteed postoperative care. an oakland clinic has volunteered to do that for free. navarro is recovering at home. >>> right now decision 2012 and the expectations the latest jobs reports will of course impact that campaign trail. we've been reporting unemployment could actually rise. as brian mooar reports, that would be some bad news for president obama

accused of driving a car that hit a man in the crosswalk right near the cal campus. police believe that elderly driver may have been under the influence. it happened around 8:40 at hurst and spruce streets. the injured man reportedly is in critical condition. >>> new security measures are in place at a school where police say a man abducted a girl. there is new restrictions at the school. police say 25-year-old bradley morasik, they say, he abducted a 9-year-old girl from a bathroom. she was able to break free and escape and then ran back to the campus reporting what happened. police also say he trespassed on also school campuses. he's due in court. >>> 7:05. new polls indicate president obama may already have the electoral votes to win a second term. 270 electoral votes are required to win the -- to win the presidency. an "associated press" poll says if the election were held today, president obama would win 271 votes. mott, 206 i lek troll votes. but more campaigning is to be had along with the presidential debate -- debates. >>> coming up at 7:15, what analysts are saying about

shot a suspicious man on the cal train tracks. this happened at a maintenance facility near the station and delayed trains during the rush hour. news chopper two was flying over the scene. police say the man had been lying on the tracks and became aggressive when a deputy approached him. the deputcalled for back up when he started picking things up off the ground to use as weapons. >> he displayed a aggressive behavior that the deputy believed was a danger to his safety and that of the other deputies. >> police say the 29-year-old moon is from san jose, his injuries are not life- threatening. investigators want to know if he is mentally ill or under the influence of drugs. >>> later today he will take over as the new catholic archbishop, installed at 2:00 during a mass there. he was served as bishop of oakland and is a supporter of california's same sex marriage ban. gay rights supporters say they will protest outside the church. >> 7:33. the america's cub village plan is changing and some teams are not happy with the idea. villages for fans to get a close look at the boats and crew wer
